Volunteers and Judges
Volunteers welcome. If you enjoy watching positive kids showcase their creative juices in a unique competition, then Odyssey of the Mind wants you. You can volunteer as a judge, scorekeeper, timer, score runner or door monitor.
We conduct a judges training on February 16th so you will know what to expect. We also match new judges with experienced teams so you are not in the dark your first time.
Recertification Hours Available for Teachers -- If you are looking for a great way to get recertification hours without sitting in a classroom, then Odyssey of the Mind has the answer. We provide a recertification form that is accepted in all Tucson area school districts and can be adapted for districts outside Tucson.
BUT BEWARE!!! Judging can be habit forming.
